How refunds and cancellations work — by plan type.

KWANUS wants you to be satisfied with your subscription. Refund terms vary by plan because what we deliver varies — monthly tools, one-time done-for-you work, or full bundle engagements. The plan-specific sections below explain what applies to you.
Cancel anytime from Settings → Billing (also reachable from the "Billing" link in the top navigation). The Stripe-hosted customer portal lets you cancel, update your card, or download invoices directly. Access continues through the end of your current paid period.
The Free plan has no charges. There is nothing to refund.
Applies to: Pro ($47/mo), Done For You ($97/mo), Personal Credit Monthly ($149/mo), and Funding Intelligence Monthly ($49/mo).
First-payment refund window — 7 days. If you cancel within 7 days of your first payment on a given plan and have not yet consumed the core service, you may request a full refund by emailing kwanusent@gmail.com with your account email and the reason.
"Consumed the core service" means:
These deliverables represent AI processing and content that has real per-customer cost, so we cannot refund them after they're delivered.
After the 7-day window. Standard refunds aren't available. Cancel anytime to stop future billing — you'll keep access through the end of the current period.
Renewal courtesy. If you forget to cancel and a renewal charges you, contact us within 48 hours of the charge for a courtesy refund of that billing period (subject to the "no service consumed since renewal" condition above).
Applies to: Personal Credit One-Time ($499), Personal Credit Complete ($999), Business Credit One-Time ($7,499), and Business Credit Enterprise ($14,999).
3-day cooling-off period (Credit Repair Organizations Act requirement). You may cancel and receive a full refund within 3 days of purchase, in writing, no questions asked. We will not have begun any work on your file during this window.
After 3 days, before any letters are sent. Pro-rated refund based on work delivered — analysis fees ($99 of a $499 purchase, $499 of a $7,499 purchase) are non-refundable; the balance is.
After letters are sent. The product has been delivered. No refund. The legal dispute machinery is in motion at that point; we can't recall certified mail from the bureaus.
Applies to: Credit + Funding Bundle ($4,999), Growth Accelerator ($9,999), and Enterprise Annual ($49,999/year).
3-day cooling-off period (same CROA basis as one-time plans).
After 3 days. These engagements include human time (advisor sessions, intros, strategy reviews) in addition to the AI tools. Refund is pro-rated against work delivered — calculated at the published hourly rate of each delivered service plus a flat $499 onboarding fee. Email kwanusent@gmail.com to request an itemized refund calculation.
Enterprise Annual specifically: the subscription is annual, but refunds are calculated against months consumed (1/12 of the annual fee per completed month), not days. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid being auto-charged for the following year.
If your card fails on a subscription renewal, Stripe will retry the charge automatically over the following ~21 days. You will receive an in-app notification each time a retry fails, with a link to update your payment method in the billing portal.
If a delayed retry succeeds after you intended to cancel, contact us within 48 hours of the successful charge for a courtesy refund.
During the retry window, your subscription is marked inactive — you will not have access to paid features until either a retry succeeds or you update your card.

We'll respond within 2 business days. If approved, refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. You'll receive an in-app notification with the refund amount when it's processed.
If you believe a charge is unauthorized, please contact us first before filing a chargeback with your bank. We can resolve most issues faster than the chargeback process, which can take 60–90 days. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of the account while the dispute is open.
